Here,
you can read about how the Republican Party and
Republican women were the primary force behind the
women's suffrage movement and the passage of the 19th
Amendment to the U.S. Constitution; how Republican women
made history by being the first women to serve in
important roles; and, how Republican women today
continue to explore uncharted territory on behalf of all
women. Our mission is to promote political
awareness among Republican women in the Franklin area.
GCRWC will further the interest of the Republican Party
through the education of its members and will increase
the effectiveness of women in the cause of good
government through active political participation. |

To All Members of the National
Federation of Republican Women.
Shirley Sadler, President of the
National Federation of Republican Women, hereby issue the
Official Call for the National Federation of Republican
Women’s 35th Biennial Convention and
request that the delegated representatives of the
members of the NFRW
present themselves for that Convention on September 10-13, 2009,
at the Caribe Royale Hotel and Convention Center at
8101 World Center Drive in Orlando, Florida. Included in the
agenda for the Convention will be such business as should
properly
be conducted by the delegates, including election of officers
for the 2010-2011 term, adoption of resolutions, consideration
of amendments
to the Bylaws, and any additional business appropriate for
consideration at the Convention.
